The
"Balcony of Puglia"; this is
its nick name. Form here it is possible
to see the Gulf of Manfredonia, Castel
del Monte, the Vulture (Basilicata), Maiella
and Gran Sasso (Abruzzo). A maginficent
sight!!! Rignano has been inhabitd since
ever, as paintings in Grotta Paglicci
prove it. The first written proofs date
back to 1100. There are a few traces of
the ancient borough, such as baronial
tower and feudal palace. Grotta Paglicci
is one fo the most important archeological
site in Europe.
