MRS EMILY GODFREY; Mrs. Emily Ruth Godfrey, 87, widow of the late J. Allen Godfrey, prominent Benton Harbor business man, died this morning at 3:50 a.m. in the Merrill Rest Home, Coloma, MI. Four months ago Mrs. Godfrey fell and received a fractured hip. She was a patient at Meroy Hospital for nine weeks. Since that time she had been at the rest home.
She was born Dec 20, 1872 in Lowell, Mi., and had been a resident of this community since 1920.
Mrs. Godfrey married April 25, 1895 in Lowell. Her husband, who operated the J. Allen Godfrey Shade Co., here, preceded her in death Feb. 26th, 1953.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Paulsen of Benton Harbor and Mrs. Joseph Davini of Salt Lake City, Utah; three grand children and one great grandchild. Three brothers, Clinton Weeks of Ionia, Leon Weeks of Lowell, and Ara Weeks of Saranac, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Betchelor of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Edith Hapeman of Lowell, also survive.
Mrs. Godfrey was a member of the Methodist Peace Temple, the WSCS of the Church and the Crickets On the Hearth. She was formerly a member of the Eastern Star.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Florin funeral ome with Rev. Stanley Buck, DD, Pastor of the Methodist Peace Temple, officiating. Graveside committal service will be held at 1 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Lowell

MILTON IVERSON: Milton Iverson, 84, of Biggs died Feb. 27, 2001 at Veteran's Administration Hospital in Menlo Park. Born in Point Arena, he was a Mid-Valley resident for 40 yeras. He was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer in Yuba City until retiring in 1985 and had formerly owned a dealership in Pittsburg. He partecipated in American Motorcycle Association-sponsored races from 1930s to the 1950s, winning several racing events, including the national champoship 50-mile and 100-mile TT races in 1938. He beagn a secaond race career with Al Lauer in 1971 and speedway races in the Sacramento area. He was a member of Body Express in Yuba City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, receiving the Purple Heart, the European, African and Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct medal. Survivors include his wife Martha Iverson of Biggs; a son, Michael Gillespie of Yuba City; three daughters, Carolyn Iverson and Cheryl Nelson, both of Yuba City, and Kathryn Bristow of Biggs; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Iverson, Everett Iverson and Vernon Iverson; and three sisters Eve Davini, Claire Titus and Esma Theodore. Donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Services: a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church in Marysville.

Services for Zola Corrine Foley, 78, of Garland were held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Dallas, with Father Thomas Speiser officiating. Burial followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas.
Mrs. Foley was a survivor of the New London school explosion that occurred in 1937.
Mrs. Foley is survived by her husband of 58 years, L.P. Foley; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Gerry Foley; two daughters, Mary J. Garcia and Kathleen E. Lea; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ray and Loretta Foley of California; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ernie and Patricia Davini of California; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

    HELPER/CARBON COUNTY- Lavisa Jane Kibler Kelley, age 97, passed away February 7, 2002 at Castleview Hospital in Price.
    She was born June 30, 1904 in Rose Hill, Jasper County, Illinois to Charles and Isabel Davis Kibler.     Married John H. Kelley, December 22, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois.     He died May 27, 1963.     Lavisa was a devoted member of the Price United Methodist Church and during past years accompanied the church choir with the organ and piano.     She and her husband John H. Kelley moved to Utah from Chicago, Illinois during the 1930's and worked and resided in various mine camps: Ophir, Colorado, Ophir, Utah, Watis, Utah and Clear Creek, Utah.     They moved to Helper, Utah after World War II and resided at 83 Palmer Street.     John opened his own business (Kelley's Lock & Tool) on Main Street and Lavisa continued to teach school.     She began her teaching career in a one room school house in Illinois.     She taught at Scofield Elementary, Raines Elementary, Helper Central Elementary and Sally Mauro Elementary.     At Raines Elementary she taught four grades and was the principal.     She was especially pleased with her operettas.     Lavisa will also be remembered for all of the tutoring and music lessons she gave over many years.     In later life, her students were always part of her memories.     After retirement from teaching, she devoted her time to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.     She will be dearly missed by her family and those whose life she touched.     Graduate of the University of Utah in August of 1958 with honors, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and Sorosis Club.     She was also a member of local women's organizations and bridge clubs.     Survived by a sister, Evelyn Helton, Illinois; two sons, Don (Judy) Kelley, Price, Robert Kelley, Alabama; daughter, Marjean (Norm) Hansen, Spring Glen; special nephew, John Asher Replogle, Arizona; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter Alyssa, who was born on February 5, 2002.     She has many nephews and nieces in Illinois who meant the world to her.
    Her grandchildren were her devotion and will remain her legacy; Donnie (Karla) Kelley, Fredricksburg, VA; Mike (Paula) Kelley, Moab; Annette (Scott) Henrie, Carbonville; John (Michele) Kelley, Price; Arlene (Ralph) Winn, Springville; Davin Kelley, Price; Bobby John Davini, AL and Lynn Davini, FL.
    She was preceded in death by her husband John and her sister, Cleda Replogle of Illinois.     She will be remembered for her homemade bread, chicken noodle soup, cherry trees, Lawrence Welk, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, soap operas, her love of sports, and her undying love for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her newly born great-great-granddaughter.     We love you Great Grandma.....     Funeral service, Thursday, February 14, 2002 10:00 a.m. Price United Methodist Church.     Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and at the church Thursday one hour prior to service.

Tinucci, Vera Marie - Mother, Grandma, Teacher, Friend Age 91 died April 22, 2004. Nee Rossini. Widow of William C. Davini and Louis R. Tinucci, Sr. preceded in death by parents, Angelina and Lorenzo Rossini; brothers, Harry and Benny Rossini; and sister, Evelyn Pierucionni; son-in-law, James J. Scott, Sr.; and granddaughter, Christine Scott. Survived by daughters, Mary Angela (David C.) Breen, Anita D. Scott; son, Ralph J. (Mary Pat) Davini; and daughter in-law, Virginia Davini; grandchildren, Angela, David (Sandra), Elaine (Ty Ternet) and Kathleen Breen, Anne (Ed Johnson), Joseph (Amy), Matthew, Nicholas and Mary Kate Davini, James, William and Theresa Scott; five great-grandchildren; stepsons, Louis Tinucci, Jr., William Tinucci and their families and cherished friend Mary Catherine Laughlin; other family and friends. MAE JOHANNA GRASSI February 10, 1920 - May 6, 2004 Passed away on May 6, 2004 from congestive heart failure in her home in Castro Valley, CA, at the age of 84. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Dante C. Grassi. Mae was the beloved mother of Sandra Grassi Davini of Hayward and James E. Grassi of Post Falls, Idaho. She was the loving mother-in-law to John M. Davini and Louise Etter Grassi. She is survived by her wonderful grandchildren, Matt and Sarah Davini, Tom Grassi and his wife, Della, and Dan Grassi and his wife, Thelma. She was the proud great-grandmother of Dana, Tyler, Danielle, Madeline and Ruth Grassi. She was the devoted aunt to her nieces, Sharon Clayson, Glayde Bolander, Lynn Thurman, Karen Hunt and Janet Wallace. Mae was a graduate of Oakland High School. After graduation she worked at the State Fair at Treasure Island and was named "Miss Sunkist" in 1939. She worked for Kinney Shoe Stores and was proud of her 20-year career with Bank of America. Mae and her husband started a jewelry business 35 years ago as a hobby; Mae continued the business until a few months ago. Selling was the heart of Mae; she enjoyed the chance to meet and be with people daily. Mae's family and many friends were the center of her life and heart. She extended her time, love and generosity to everyone whom she met. Christmas was her favorite day of the year. She began shopping in January for the coming Christmas, always selecting the most loving and appropriate gifts. Mae enjoyed cooking (her fruitcakes and custards were the best!), gardening, shopping and entertaining family and friends. Mae loved Monterey; it was the place of her honeymoon; each year she arranged a vacation for the family. Mae attended Redwood Chapel in Castro Valley until her confinement. She was a faithful Christian. Visititation will occur on Wednesday, May 11, 2004, at Machado's Hillside Chapel, 1051 Harder Rd., Hayward, CA, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Mae's life will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2004, at Redwood Community Church on Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA, at 6:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Brian P. McKeown, 44
Owned house painting company; avid sports fan    HYANNIS - Brian P. "The Big B" McKeown, 44, died Sept. 2 at his home after a sudden illness.
     Born in Framingham, he graduated from Framingham South High School.       He later moved to Worcester, where he lived with his aunt, Paula Lombardi, and began working as a house painter.   He settled in Hyannis three years ago and founded The Big B house painting company, which he owned and operated until his death.
     He enjoyed weightlifting and bodybuilding and was an active member of Gold's Gym in Hyannis.  He was also an avid Patriots and football fan, loved the Red Sox, enjoyed fishing and was a friend of Bill W.  Besides his aunt, survivors include three other aunts, Delores Traffcante and Cynthia Hassett, both of Worcester, and Gail Pedone of Shrewsbury; and an uncle, Bruce Davini of Millbury.  A celebration of his life is at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Coutinho-Boisse Funeral Home, 678 Main St., Harwich, followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m.
