Grew up in Radnicki Beograd (Yugoslavia), soon moved to Partizan Beograd.
In 1986-87 made his debut in the pro's with
Partizan Beograd (Yugoslavia). In 1992-93 signed
in Italy for Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano and
after 2 seasons in 1994-95, as free agent,
signed for Fortitudo Pallacanestro Bologna,
still in Italy. In 1996-97, with a very
controversial and surprising decision he's
released by Fortitudo and signed as free agent
with the Portland Trailblazers for the 1996-97
season. In december 97 decides to return to
Europe, is released by Portland and signs in
Spain for FC Barcelona where he also the played
1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons. One year later, in
1999-00, he has been signed on late September by
Real Madrid (Spain) and has always played there
since.
