Object: NGC7640 - Galaxy in Andromeda Date: August 19, 2001 - 01:40 UT Scope: Vixen R200SS - 8 inch f/4 Newtonian at direct focus Camera: SBIG ST237 (No filter) Detail: Seven frames of 8 minutes each (56 minutes total) binning 1x1, all flat fielded. Guided with Meade 201XT at the focus of a 4 inch f/10 SCT. Images processed with CCDOPS for Windows 4.10 and AIP4WIN (gamma scaled, deconvolved with Van Cittert 4 iterations) Further processing performed with Picture Window Pro 3.1 Notes: Seeing 7/10. Obvious field rotation due to imperfect polar alignment and long exposure time of each frame. This object has a very low surface brightness.
