Representatives of NUEYS attend lecture

Sixty-five members of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students (NUEYS) of Zoba Maakel in position of responsibility were given lectures in Nefasit on different topics, including management, economy, organization, and health issues. Among those who gave the lectures were Mr. Yemane Tesfai, General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Eritrea (CBE). The Chairman of NUEYS, Mr. Mohyedin Shengeb, also gave a lecture on the history of the Eritrean Youth Movement dating from the years of the armed struggle. He also highlighted the impressive role the youth are playing in rebuffing the conspiracy of the TPLF forces of aggression. Besides, Mr. Mohyedin gave replies to questions from the participants of the lecture session.

In another report, Eritrean youths residing in the UK and Denmark have expressed their admiration to their countrymen who are waging united struggle to foil the aggressive designs of the Ethiopian regime. They also expressed their continued support to programs aimed at speeding up the pace of national development and ensuring defence of the country's sovereignty.

The patriotic stance of Eritrean youths living in London and Coopenhagen was highlighted during seminars Mr. Ali Abdu, Deputy Chairman of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students (NUEYS) had conducted in the two European cities. Mr. Ali praised members of the youth for their patriotic stand and emphasized the heavy responsibility entrusted to them in the nation-building process as well as in foiling any hostile external conspiracy.
