|
To
arrive to Pula is much simple one, enough to take, from
Cagliari, the state road 195 and to cover 30 kilometers
approximately. After approximately 30 minutes by car here the
main entrance, than it is introduced like a short section of
tree-lined road that finishes with a crossing and
of forehead to this one small tree-lined public square. This
is a place that covers much importance the day of 2 the May,
when reaches to Pula Sant'Efisio, patron of all the
Sardinians, and an immense crowd attends just in this place
the arrival of the Saint. |

Exceeded
the crossing, a bridge crosses the River of Pula, after which you
are
arrived to the center of the country. |
|
|

|
The
bridge recently has been with subordinate to restructure and has
been equipped sidewalks both the sides. Crossing the bridge
there is a intersection: on the right one is found a scholastic
structure and continuing in this direction it is returned in
the state road, on left there is Circonvallazione St. that
runs along a side of the country make easy the attainment of
the other head. In straight direction it is gone towards the

The
heart of Pula is introduced immediately pleasant and much vitality.
The public Central Square is the main public place and from it they leave,
like of arteries, the main roads, that cross the city from
north to south and east to west. They are the Nora St., the
Montesanto St. and Vittorio Emanuele Main St. which accommodates the
business activities and the public buildings and they are connected
to other important ways. It is in this public Central Square that more
frequently people meet others. There is who crosses it in order
to catch up a store to make purchases, who has given an
appointment for job, who arrive to taste a coffee in the
bar, who acquires the daily paper to the newspaper stand. |

In the public Central
Square there is the main entrance of a house very important for Pula
from the historical point of view. We are speaking about the
so-called "Casa Frau", an ancient house in Sardinian style where the
office of the Tourist Association Pro Loco Pula has center.
Characteristic of the Sardinan houses is the court that rose at the
center of the house. During the summer in "Casa Frau" various
manifestations are kept from Pro Loco, between the many, the famous
artisan review "Artifolk" and the tastings of Sardinian
typical products. As I have already said, from the public Central Square can
be taken various roads, of these Nora St., realized in building
stone, heads towards the little distant church. The church of Saint
Giovanni, patron of Pula, goes back to centuries XVI - XVII, and to
the end of 1800 were executed restoration jobs. Recently they have
been carried out of the restructure jobs that have interested
the building and the front small public square, while they continue the
restorations of frescoes to the inside. |

concentrated on this road numerous and small handicraft that during
the summery period remains opened until late evening encouraging
nocturnal walks along the historical center with possibility of
shopping. Nora St. it intersects Corinaldi St. that filler on an other
central road, the Vittorio Emanuele Main Street. Corinaldi St. moreover it
