SHF - Super High Frequencies

It is the frequency range going from 3 GHz to 30 GHz and here we can find, in Italy, four different ham bands. In fact many hams think at SHF as if they began at about 1 GHz, where technology and components become very different from those used at lower frequencies.
SHF, called also microwaves, are a field in quick development and thus a very interesting experimenting arena for many radio amateurs.
