L'acronimo significa Phase Shifk Keying a 31 baud.
Si tratta di un modo di comunicazione digitale, inventato da Peter Martinez (G3PLX) e
basato sul precedente SLOWBPSK di Pawel Jalocha (SP9VRC).
Si basa sulla modulazione di fase di un singolo tono audio, in genere trasmesso
in modo USB, nelle bande HF e
6 metri, oppure anche in FM, nelle bande VHF
e superiori.
