The Song of the Earth is a painting project by Maria Korporal, Dutch artist living in Italy, dedicated to the music of Gustav Mahler.

The project consists of 54 drawings and paintings, each of these representing a work by the composer.

“The Song of the Earth” is richly documentated on this website.

There is also available a CD-Rom with multimedial presentations (Mahler's music included).
