Paved::labelAdaptor - transforms an existing label widget in a Paved-Label
package require Paved::label
Paved::labelAdaptor pathName ?options?
Paved::labelAdaptor transforms an existing label in a a Paved-Label.
Actually Paved::label is built upon Paved::labelAdaptor, that is, the latter is the real widget, whilst Paved::label simply creates a label, then transforms it using Paved::labelAdaptor.
Once a label has been transformed in a Paved-Label, you can use all its options/sub-commands/bindings as if it were an original Paved::label.
# creates a standard label label .lbl -text "Hello World" package require Paved::label # suppose xyz.gif is in current directory # get the original label .lbl and transform it in a paved-label Paved::labelAdaptor .lbl -tile xyz.gif .lbl configure -compound center
