You will start your day in Treviso an elegant and picturesque town where you will be met
by your guide and treated to a glass of the local white wine.
The following day you explore Marostica, the stunning medieval town famous for its
annual human chess board game.
In Asolo you will sip savory wines as you admire Palladian Villas surrounded by serene
countryside where poets like Petrarch lived and wrote.
As you move from one town to another you will sample a variety of cheese like Asiago before sitting down to a four course dinner in the private home of our friend and winemaker. |
In Udine and Cividale you will feel the grandeur of the Roman Empire as you walk through ancient ruins.
In Grado one of the major ports of antiquity and a famous resort during the
Austrian Empire, you will be able to walk on the beach as well as in the state park. In nearby Acquilea you will be amazed at the beauty of Roman mosaics contained in the early Christian Basilica. |
Gorizia on the Italian - Slovenian border will welcome you with its charming ambience.
On the fertile green hills of Collio you will sip some of the best white wines in the
world with sweeping uninterrupted views over green valleys.
