CLIMATE

The climate of Los Roques is very pleasant due to the constant presence of the light breeze of the trade winds.

It hardly ever rains in this archipelago, not even during the winter, when the rainy season commences on the continent.

This is due to a strange atmospheric phenomenon that causes the perturbations to dissolve before reaching it, almost as if they wish to avoid disturbing the tourists’ relaxation.

Nonetheless, June and November are the worse months in terms of climate, but even then rain is rare and not heavy.

Unlike other Caribbean islands, Los Roques is not affected by hurricanes.

The air temperature ranges from 24 degrees centigrade in January to 34 in August, whilst the water temperature is between 25 and 30 degrees.
