This modification enables two new sound effects, designed to provide more feedback to
the player whenever he wounds or kills an enemy pilot.
CFS2 does in fact include the pilot in the aircraft damage model, but only a small smoke
puff indicates that the pilot has been wounded or killed.
In the past I had tried various graphics effects triggered by a pilot kill, but none
was in my opinion really good enough or realistic enough.
Finally it dawned on me that I could use a sound effect.
After installing this modification you will hear a short scream when you wound the enemy
pilot, and a long blood curling scream if you kill him.
Note that the screams are effect sounds coming from the enemy pilot: I made them very loud
but you will have to be pretty close in order to hear them over the noise of the engines
and of the machine guns (you'd better be pretty close anyway if you want to score hits on
the pilot, it's difficult and requires excellent marksmanship).
How close should you be? In testing I found that the screams can be heard from 200 yards,
but ideally you should be closer that 150 yards.
Oh, of course you will hear the screams also in the event that one of your wingmen is hit close by... and in case you happen to be the target, you will be the one screaming ;-)
