Tequila (Chow Yun-Fat) is a police inspector which tries in all ways to capture a weapon's dealer (Wong), he ignores anyway, that in the Wong's gang is infiltrated one of  his colleagues  (Leung). Hong Kong's action movie arrives at its maximum levels, "Die Hard" series do not holds the comparison.Unforgettable the first shooting in the restaurant but, above all, the apocalyptic final, placed in an hospital, where Tequila, besides avoiding bullets, shall keep in safe some new borns. Woo appears in the movie as the barman of the night club where Tequila sings.

" The dead lock point of  Hong Kong's action movie. The topics of  betrayal, sacrifice and male friendship, so holds to Woo, succeed to avoid  the suffocation determined by an hypertrophic and vertiginous staging, with   incredibly complex and violents action's sequences, which, in comparison, every american film turns pale. " The last Hong Kong 's movie of Woo..... in which  is present the mother of all movie's shootings, something that would have made die with envy Sam Peckinpah: forty minutes of fire crash  in an hospital with hundreds of murders, new borns to save and explosions that follow one another like the fireworks in Naples. In this movie,  differently from the others, peeps out a black humorism near the limit  of auto-irony: an example of sweet Woo's irony is the long scene where  Chow Yun-Fat  faces a legion of bads, holding a new born in the arms.
