Aesthetic care for Korat Cats

• Wash Korat Wednesday or Thursday before show (each cat may require different day)
• First wash with a good flea shampoo to remove excess oils or use a grease cutting shampoo, then rinse
• Second wash use "Ring 5 Tearless Bright White" shampoo and rinse thoroughly
• If a conditioner is required, use "Ring 5 Hair-Care" diluted in warm water & shake to dissolve. Let conditioner set two minutes & rinse thoroughly
• Dry Korat with a towel; while still damp comb complete cat & let cat dry in a small room (bathroom) that is warm. We place a quartz space heater in room and get warm before placing bathed cat in room.

• Use a lint brush made with flocking material to smooth out coat. (you may also use a flea comb)
• If you want your Korat's coat to look more silver, rubzon acorn starch & baby powder mixture just before going to the ring. Make sure you comb out the excess powder!!

  Smooth out the Korat's coat with a silk scarf when you take her to the ring. The silk seems to remove the excess static. (You may also use "Bounice" fabric softener sheet to remove static).
