The members of
Legambiente Roma Nord have at their disposition, a free bicycle for one hour.
We are looking for volunteers to help make Capoprati Park more beautiful.
There are gardening projects, small works to be completed in wood, maintenance of the
river's plants and animals and various small projects of daily care.
Ask for Franca Nuccitelli or Sergio Laurenti (speaks english)
If you are at least 14 years old or less than 99 years old, come help us.
Environment, Culture, and other things
The children's play area is near completion.
Now available are the new programs of
environmental education for the school year of 1999-2000, dedicated to the kids at the
elementary and middle schools. For information ask for Emanuela Cecora
The initiative for "l'Estate Romana" has concluded. Good bye to Capoprati Jazz & Soft '99. Hope to see you next year.
A photographic show about the " Tevere" , its history,
its activities and its future is being prepared.
The opening is planned for April 2000.
Work has begun on the cleaning of the
shoulder of the Tevere from Ponte Milvio to Ponte Risorgimento. An area of about two km
has been completed. Have a nice walk!!
We are realizing a court for "green volley", volleyball on the
grass, in collaboration with Wallaby Club Roma
