London in my heart
Parks

Hyde Park
Hyde Park
Hyde Park was built in the XVI century as Henry VIII wanted and in the 1637 Charles I made it public. The artificial lake
called Serpentine is a suggestion of George II wife.
Hyde Park is for London people the main place where you can relax yourself: it's like a relax temple: you can play sports, riding in the Rotten Row or just sitting under a cool tree. At north-east of the park there is the speaker's corner where on sundays morning it is demostrated the freedom of speech.

Kensington Gardens
Kensigton Gardens
With Hyde Park it shapes a very large green expanse in London heart. The border of the two parks is "painted" from the Serpentine and the Long water just where they are divided by the Serpentine bridge. Inside the Kensington Gardens we can find Kensington Palace, where in the 1819 was born the Queen Victoria to which it was built a statue just in front of the Palace.

Regent's Park
Regent's Park
It was designed by John Nash in the 1812 and it is the "London Zoo house" with 12.000 animals.

St. James's Park
St. James's Park
From a little bridge inside the park you can have one of the most beautiful views of Buckingham Palace. With Green Park it forms a green zone around the royal palace.

Holland Park
It's a little park with a wide kind of beautiful flowers.
