The museum is at the feet of San Calogero mount, in a garden full of almond-trees and olive-trees. Here lived Bentivegna, the author who sculptured thousand of heads. The heads arrange in a logical disposition it's depend on the importance and on the fact of his life. Every head tells about his drama and his delusion about love with an American girl, which he knew during his living in USA. Among the heads one can admire those which Filippo called friends, historical hero of the Chanson de Roland, Garibaldi, Vittorio Emanuele e Napoleone. Indian heads are very interesting (maybe the sculptor saw them in America). In Filippo's imaginative world his "statues" were alive, they belonged to him, this is the reason why he never sold one of them. Nevertheless a few Filippo's works are in France, in Belgium, in Australia and other are kept in "de l'art brut" art naive museum of Losanna.
