Lace Competition Fusello d'Oro - Offida

Il Concorso Fusello d'Oro di Offida takes place every year in summer since 1999; traditionally devoted to the classical Offida Lace, it is now open even to non Offidan people and lace.

Every year there's a different theme: in 2003 it was devoted to Lace fans, with two kind of competitors, under 20 and up. For the first time the Fusello d'Oro Prize (a gold bobbin) went to Gianfranca Tolloi , a non-offidan woman; even a young man, Danilo Mantova, participated with an appreciated work.

The theme of 2004 edition will be: "A mask on the face".
The prize will be given on August, 1st, 2004, in a special lace makers day.
