Bianca Ferretti
Roma (RM)

Mrs. Bianca Ferretti, born in 1931, is an experienced lacemaker; she has been working bobbin lace  since she was a child and creates by herself the designs to be worked.

She follows the French tradition as it was established in the town of Isernia since 1400, during House of Angiņ reign.

The pillow she uses is the traditional cilindric cushion filled with straw, that catches well the great number of pins used to fix the work.

Her designs usually take inspiration from nature, first of all flowers and leaves, but she made also portraits or religious subjects.
