Loredana Daltin met bobbin lace when she was still attending high school. Later on, she started attending Gorizia Bobbin Lace School, where she took her degree as Lace Teacher in 1993. She has been teachin in the School since 1995. She usually works on patterns of her own project, choosing different techniques and threads, with the aim of using lace in a lot of different ways: for instance, flowers for a mirror decoration, a clock, photo albums and frames, colliers, etc. In her own words, "bobbin lace and design is the way I express myself; I couldn't live without it".
