PARISIAN MUSEUM OF ROME
The Parisian Museum of Rome , founded by Cesare Nissirio, president of the Association for International Exchanges "Athena Parthenos" mainly features illustrated posters and publications, postcards and other documents of parisian life and culture from the period 1850-1950. The showroom is located in Via Cremona, 40, Rome, Italy (tel. 39-6-4423-7261). The Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and the study of such cultural artifacts.

The Parisian Museum, the only one in its genre throughout the world, has a collection of handwritten documents, posters, engravings, gouaches, drawings, watercolor paintings, lithographies, illustrated books, newspapers, magazines, advertising leaftlets and postcards, playing cards, decorated fans, 'magic lanterns', records, grammophones, toys and games: all documents of parisian life and culture between the 19th and 20th century. The Museum has a standing twinship with Musee de Montmartre in Paris, France.

The museum's permanent collection is divided in 'themes': among them, the city of Paris, theater and entertainment, cinema, music (classical and popular), dance, literature, art, architecture, periodicals, fashion, games and kids....

The museum also features a library focused on parisian culture until the 1950's and a collection of photograph potraying artists.
