MORBOSIDAD Interview    end of august 2004 e.v.   questions: hsinaV; answers: Thomas Stench

1.Hail T. Stench. First of all, let me say it’s a honour to me to feature such a great bestial death/black metal act like Morbosidad in my ‘zine…

**666Hailz Demon!! Thank you, 'Im glad to hear that.

2.You’re at the second album, after having released a Lp through NWN! Prod., so probably you’re gaining some “fame” in the underground (mostly within the USA, I think), but anyway I discovered Morbosidad with delay, so can you tell me a chronicle of the story of the band?

**Well, the morboso cult was formed in 1993. In 1994 we recorded our fisrt studio demo but two weeks after the recording our drummer Yegros fuckin passed away so due to his fuckin depart we stoped the madness for a while. In 1998 we and N'Death got together and with a new line up, we recorded our self title which it came out until 2000 for some personal and economic problemas as always. And from then since now we have been spreading the morboso propaganda like drugs with couple of releases.

3.I heard a lot of bestiality and barbaric violence within your music, ah ah! To me a thing that surely contributes to give such a barbaric aura to your music are the lyrics… why are they in spanish and not in english?

**Cause I feel more comfortable writing bestial lyrics in my native language,our language is fuckin unique and original and also gives the horde a primtive and cult sound and image.

4.The lyrics you wrote are filled with lots of insane rage & cruelty against the “holy trinity”… can you explain your position in front of Christianity and why you’re against such patetic beliefs and shitty religion?

**I hate fuckin christianity, we all should do. Our lyrics deal with nothing more then destruction and hate toward them , they should be exterminate!! as well their pathetic religion and belivers, cause they are the plague who will be never welcome anywhere, they are fuckin worthless and stupid with their beliefs.

5.About Pacto Satanico (Satanic Pact): do you define yourself a satanist? If yes, why?

**I consider myself a demon who worship the horned one and spread blaphemy throught music.

6.What do you think of the nowadays situation, about religions worldwide? I mean, from the middle east we have those narrow-minded pigs who are living in a shitty middle-age and nevertheless they think they can conquer us (us = occidental ones)…

**Religions everywhere are no more then a big pile of shit. Fuck those people, they are worthless and have no mind at all.

7.What’s your thought towards Christianity and shitty ISLAM, confronting the two religions? Which do you think is the worst? And why?

**I think both are the same shit, they both religions and they both are plague to us.

8.Are you anti-human, generally speaking? I don’t think Morbosidad has a misanthropic message but, do you recognize yourself the most in the social, or what?

**I'm myself, I try to stay away from pathetic people and somethings that this shitty world brings.

9.Maybe it’s a over-asked question by me, but I think there’s a lot of stupidity within lots of 17/18 years old idiots who listen to black metal, started while listening to Dimmu Borgir and now they ended up playing so-called NSBM (in Europe this is a fairly diffused phenomenon)… so tell me, what’s your thought towards this new trend called NSBM?

**I hate that shit, Im so full of anger when I see stupid and retard kids about that age(or even older) thinking that those fuckin shitty ass bands are the greatest of all. Plus NSBM I don't think has to do anything with the real black/death metal at all ,there you can see how low their mind is.

10.What about your influences? I heard a lot of southamerican metal influences (and Blasphemy one too, especially for the vocals) in your music, am I right?… Which are the bands you got the main inspiration from?

**Yes, the south america influence is of course in our music as well primitive hordes as Blasphemy and Beherit. My influences are Sarcofago,Sadism,Deathyell,Mutilator,Holocausto and lots more. I think one of the main inspirations came when I heard the Dawn of Satanas Millenium for the fisrt time,when I heard that ep it fuckin blew me away and still is. That's when I said fuck it, I want to do samething compare to this, we'll never match their bestiality but they fuckin influenced me as hell and hail to that ep for being such a killer piece of black metal art!! \m/ 

11.What about your top of the tops (pops?! Naah!) favourite albums ever? And do you listen to anything outside metal? 

**1.Beherit "Dawn of Satanas Millenium" 2.Blasphemy "Gods of War" 3.Sarcofago "Inri" 4.Slayer "Reign in Blood" 5.Impaled Nazarene (First fuckin album, Tornz Norz Norz,ahh someshit like that) 6.Bathory "The return..." Plus tons more. No, only METAL is real!!!! 

12.What’s your position towards webzines and generally the presence of underground metal music on the Net?! 

**I don't like it at all. The only good thing about the internet is the email shit, cause is faster and helps bands to get their name out there. I would reather prefer to send a letter written in hand than an email but it takes forever to get to their destenation and sometimes might get lost like sometimes happens. I like doing it the old school way, is really primitive and hellish!!! the webzine is a good help for bands but is not for me at all, there's nothing more evil and primitive as a xerox black & white zine, that's metal!! 

13.And what about the sharing of free music through peer to peer programs, still on the Net? 

**I don't like it either. You want music,get in touch with the band through mail and get their demo tapes and that's how you support them and keep the underground alive, sharing music through the internet has no underground feeling at all. 

14.As I know, your Santisima Muerte demo was out in 1994: six long damn year before your Lp through NWN!… I wonder why no interest on your band has been risen before… what do you think? Is this due to the re-discovering of such kult acts like Blasphemy/Sarcofago (or anyway of some pretty exotic extreme metal sounds)? 

**After what hapenned to our drummer I thought the best way was to stay away from the band for a while and wait for the right moment to do it .No just because the re-covering of such killer hordes but wait for the right moment and spread it like a disease plus finding the right people to join the band is not tha easy at all , you always ended up with some possers or faggots who know shit about music 

15.What about the cover of your 2nd album Cojete A Dio Por El Culo? It’s pretty inevitable a remind to the art of Chris Moyen, but it seems it’s another drawer who did it. 

**Yeah, its really blasphemous!! our good demon brother Klaudisz from Poland was in charge in the art, he worship C.Moyen as hell , you see the influence, he'a killer artist and deadly demon as well. 

16.In your opinion, in 2004, can we speak of a new fulcrum of underground extreme metal, which from the Scandinavian black metal of the 90’s has been passed to North America/Canada, with great bands like Revenge, Black Witchery, Axis Of Advance, Inquisition, Thornspawn, etc. (I consider Morbosidad part of all this)? 

**I don't know, all I can say is thar Morbosidad is a part of a killer black/detah metal movement here in America that is growing stronger. 

17.Why did you do a Beherit cover (Salomon’s Gate, in the 2nd album)? I know also that you’re doing a Necrovore cover, right? 

**Cause we worship them!! \m/ and we thought it will be goatly to do a cover from them.In the first place we wanted to cover one song from the mighty ep or even from the Oath of the Black Blood but since we were short on time we decided to recorde Salomon's Gate cause it sounded easy and its fuckin killer anyway. Yes, we recorded Mutilated Death from the mighty Necrovore. This will be for a Necrovore Tribute Lp that will be unleashed by From Beyond , this will feature killer hordes.All I can say and can't fuckin wait to have here and listen it to while drinkin tequila argghh!!!
