From Nagata to the world The Commencement of Internet Broadcasting Three years have passed since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and the revival of Kobe also met its moment of truth. After the Great Quake, the community broadcast station FMYY, born in Kobe citys Nagata ward on January 17, 1995, marks its second anniversary. By turning this tragic moment into an opportunity, and utilizing the cooperation of the Real Networks Company, FMYY transmits to different regions both the experiences of those in the unprecedented earthquake tragedy, and the efforts to continue community development which started after the disaster, while working from common property to make it possible.
