Dear Loki,

It cannot have escaped your attention that this newsgroup is far and above the rabble to be found 'out there'.
It would make sense therefore, would it not, that such an august gathering as is to be found herein, should not be simply and commonly referred to as just a 'newsgroup'. Hence we dwell blissfully and serenely within what some of us call The Illuminated Realm. Not all of us lay claim to this of course, but still and all it keeps the rest of us amused. After all, little things please little minds.

As you would expect from an Illuminated Realm, we have sovereigns, knights, jesters, poets, heralds, guards (and still desperately seeking a treasurer though our worldly wealth is really of no consequence, except there was an
inquiry from one of our noble knights regarding his pension.)
