ICLIng, that is It.Cultura.Linguistica.Inglese, is a small island in the vast ocean of Usenet that is known for being the seat of the Illuminated Realm. Source of Illumination is the Quadrigynarchy that rules the land: four are the Queens that help the poors and the humbles. They are known by the names of Arianna (arianna54), Bambi (bambi), Isabella (isabella z) and Mary (mary cassidy). |
Welcome to The Realm. This is the official and authorized homepage of ICLIng, a newsgroup also known as The Illuminated Realm ('The Realm' to close friends). This page is still under construction and by knowing the loafer who's maintaining it we can assure you that it will always be so.
The main purpose of this web site is to host the FAQs of the group, and you are to find them on this page. A secondary but not so secret purpose is to allow newcomers to understand what's going on within the group and why some people are called Queens, some other Knights and so on. Also it would be highly appreciated if you will spend some of your time learning the basic netiquette and the extra tidbits of good manners that the group is fostering since its foundation. Here is a list of what you will find (the future tense is due because of the loafer's attitudes):
