Rino Gaetano
Salvatore Antonio "Rino" Gaetano (29 October 1950, Crotone, Italy
- 2 June 1981, Roma) was a most popular Italian singer and songwriter. Rino
mixed his unique musical talent with a typical "man from the street" attitude and
Communist ideals. He died on the 2nd of June 1981, aged 30, after his car crashed into a
truck on the Nomentana street in Rome. He was buried in Verano Cemetery, Rome,
just a few days before his wedding date.
