Villasimius & Costa Rei
A
farming community prior to the 1960's, Villasimius & Costa Rei now retain
very little of their former appearance. They now boast beautiful beaches,
unparalleled warm and clear waters, perhaps the clearest known to man,
and reefs with exceptionally thriving marine life. The roads linking these
two resorts offer one of the best panoramic views in all of Sardinia.
Whether it be for a nice day of tanning, a trek into the nearby rocky
landscape, wind-surfing off the shore or scuba diving, Villasimius and
Costa Rei are quite simply the places to be.
Sant'Antioco & San Pietro
The historical value of Sant’Antioco and San Pietro
dates back to the Nuraghic period (2000-800B.C.) and traces of these ancient
times are still evident all along the coast. With their multitude of Nuraghes,
their Punic necropolis, their imposing towers, these two islands satisfy
even the most particular historical buffs. Scuba divers will find the
assistance of knowledgeable instructors. To this day ships, from the heavily
pirated days of Sardinia still line the bottom of the sea that surrounds
these two islands, maybe you will uncover something that will open a new
chapter on Sardinian history. Not understandable???? These islands not
only endow themselves with rich history but are also abundant in serene
beaches. Many of the barren gold sandy beaches rise up dramatically to
form an imposing rock cliff while the elegant blue water caresses the
coast under a hypnotic rhythm.

Pula, Santa Margherita & Chia
The region's state forest, rich green pastures, rolling
red granite mountains and abundant agriculture make it first choice for
nature lovers. The beaches, fine dune-like white sand, are bathed with
emerald blue water and are one of the region’s pride possessions. The
ancient city of Nora stands on the brim of the region looking out to the
sea. The city, once a Phoenician heaven was conquered by the Romans and
is now a monument to Sardinia's tumultuous past with an impressive amphitheater
and numerous marble columns. Excavations keep uncovering ancient treasures,
but many are believed to be hidden away in the nearby sea. Whether it
be an exploration of Sardinia antiquities or a gallop on horse back through
the region’s thick natural wealth, this region is a must on anyone's Sardinian
itinerary.

San Teodoro, Ottiolu and Porto San
Paolo
Just south of the city of Olbia on Sardinia’s east
coast is Sardinia’s busiest vacation play land, with San Teodoro the guardian,
Porto San Paolo to the north and Ottiolu to the south the lookouts. An
area of some 22 kilometer’s of coastline filled with white sandy beaches
and an aquamarine sea. San Teodoro whose city center is home in the evening
to all the areas visitors, can claim a place as perhaps the busiest vacation
spot in Europe.
Tranquil
during the day, happening during the evenings, all of Sardinia, young
and old seem to wander its street from sunset on. Sardinia Domus a su
Mari not only provides Villa’s in all these locations, it also provides
its many services. Navigate the links to Villa Vacations and help us create
your perfect Sardinian vacation.
Costa Smeralda & Santa Teresa di Gallura
There is not much one can add to the words "Costa Smeralda",
one can name locations, but they would be a waste of words, already known
to the worlds elite. From its "Emerald Sea" and the many white sandy beaches,
villa’s that make one wonder if they are real or simply a setting for
a make believe movie, port’s and cove’s whose anchored yacht’s are bigger
than the villa’s that keep people wondering. Yes, this is the Costa Smeralda
no equal on earth, a place of the elite, entertainers, politicians, athletes
and the worlds business elite. Then one realizes it only takes place because
of all the natural beauty that is everywhere one looks. Yes, there are
no words to describe the Costa Smeralda.
The Sardinian who came back and marveled to his place of birth is more
than proud to offer the Costa Smeralda and Santa Teresa di Gallura for
Villa Vacations. Navigate the links to take advantage of all services
that are available to Villa Vacation guests.
