 This website is the
report of the Roiate workcamp 2004. The workcamp, organized by the italian
branche of the international organisation YAP, was made in the August 2004 in
Roiate, Italy with twenty volunteers of thirteen different countries. The work was mainly
focused in cleaning two footpaths (between Piglio and Roiate and between Roiate
and Subiaco) cuting shrubs and bushes that have invaded the paths and posting
some explanatory signs. Volunteers have clean and renovated also ancient roman walls near the town of Roiate.
This wall was built by Roman community in the IV century B.C. The volunteers have
also take part in ecological events and manifestations. Excursion in the nearby
towns and localities was been organised during free time and weekend.
