Hi, I'm Matt

...and I play bass in Mudhoney. When I started playing I was in the Melvins's earliest formation, with Buzz and Dale: together we recorded the classic hard rock "6 songs EP" 7" (Melvins' first recording ever) on Daniel House's C/Z and some more stuff; anyway, when Mark and Steve decided to start the Mudhoney thing, I was in town as the group had split up (as we all know well, the others two are now long back together) and I was called with Dan to record the first demos.

Well, I haven't any side-group or other music-related activities. I keep rocking with Mudhoney and it's enough for now. For all the rest, here is my section from the Reprise HP's Mudhoney bio:
