COMPETITION RULES

 
    Age Divisions
Contestants will compete in the following age groups:
Pedagogy
Under 16
OVER
 
    Time Limits
SOLO, DUO-TRIO, MAY NOT EXCEED 3 MINUTES IN LENGTH LARGE GROUP, MAY BE UP TO 8 MINUTES IN LENGTH.
THE MAX EXHIBITION TIME IS 15 MINUTES for EACH DANCE GROUP.
The definitive Art. Schedule of each group is to be discussed with the office.



    Music Guidelines
Each entry must furnish one “perfect quality” CDS.
It is OBLYGATORY  that teachers bring 3 DIFFERENT COPIES of each CD in the event of a malfunction of the original. Only the song for that entry may be on the tape. It should be CUED and clearly marked with the name of the song and studio. Tapes must be turned in AT LEAST ONE HOUR before the scheduled rehearsal time and performance time.

    Jury
The Jury will be composed by international dance experts, members of DANCE GRAND PRIX ACADEMY Association.
It will be possible to meet the Jury only during the Press Conference which will be organised just after the Awarding Ceremony.
The Press Conference exact place will be announced during the Festival.
It's severely forbidden for every participant to meet the Jury in any other moment as it will be considered a disturb action.

    Important information
1. All theatrical, dates and location are subject to change.
2. Competing dancers should be ready at least 1 hr. prior to scheduled rehearsal and competition times.
3. Props are allowed but must be "free standing". Any litter on stage after the performance must be cleaned by the DANCE CREW.
4. Any unnecessary delay will result in a point deduction.
5. Smoking is prohibited in all competition and dressing room areas and is limited to those areas designated by the facility.
6. Food or drink is prohibited in the competition area or backstage (only water is permitted)
7. Coaching from the wings or audience is prohibited.
8. It is expected that all competitors and attendees will conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen at all times.
9. It's possible to take pictures during the Competition, without disturbing the Show.
10. Pictures of the evening shows can be used by our Cultural Org. for advertising materials as brochures, posters and newsletter.
11. The dressing rooms assignation and the theatrical rough draft are set up at unquestionable way by technical staff.
12. The theatrical rough draft is just a conventional order: THERE WILL BE NOT ELIMINATION DURING THE COMPETITION, SO ALL THE CHOREOGRAPHIES WILL BE IN COMPETITION UNTIL THE END WITH THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES.
13. About injuring risk during the Event, Theatres and Hotels have injures insurance.
14. Direction assumes no responsibility for personal injury or property lost at its events.
15. Direction has the right to refuse any application..
16. Direction reserve the right to change the schedule, and it's expected dancers to be available to perform at anytime throughout the Festivals time.
17. The confirmation of all the details regarding participation will be sent to all the participant groups between 15 and 5 days before the Event.
18. Our Cultural Org. has no responsability about author reserved rights (music and choreography) presented by dance groups participants.
All copyright negotiations are the responsibility of the participant.
19. The official language in this Festival is ENGLISH, with the dispensation for ITALIAN language.
20. Violation of any of the above is grounds for immediate disqualification.
