An expecial OGIVA has been designed to couple a SEAS .75" driver and the frequency response is flat starting from 2.5 Khz with an efficiency of 101 dB/1W/ 1m (+/- 2dB) up to 17.5 Khz.
The solid wood together with the dimensions of the horn due to the high frequency range involved practically avoids all resonances that normally materials as A.B.S., fiberglass or similars and metal add to sound producing Hi-COLORATION.
The horn is completely worked out starting from a mono-block of wood made by several solid staves 1" thick.
These horns have been expecially designed for the DIANA and LAURA Royal Device loudspeakers.
Hereby are shown the MLS measures made on axis at one meter distance with 1/3 octave smoothing (fig.1 ) and 1/12 octave smoothing (fig.2). Measures are made with 2 meters standard (2.5 mm section) cable. RD-CABLE improves hi frequency response abobe 17 KHz of about +1.8 dBs.
