Introduction

Cagliari University, Società Paleontologica Italiana and Palaontologische Gesellschaft are organizing an international meeting in Sardinia on October 8-14, 2002.

The President, Prof. Antonietta Cherchi, from Cagliari University and also President of the Società Paleontologica Italiana, will be pleased to cohordinate the event, which will group about 60 palaeontologists coming from Italy, Germany and Spain.

6 days of guided field trip are planned, visiting the most interesting fossiliferous sites of Sardinia (see  Second circular for details).
