A modern conception of occupational training; it seeks to give a step beyond in goals, contents and methodologies of this kind of training. The main objective is to provide the trainers with tools so that the students can get into the market in an autonomous way, stay there and have opportunities to improve all along their working life. In order to achieve this, we will come to conclusions from the analysis of the labour market and the training measures and, in addition, we will carry out the training of the trainers.

C.2 For RENEWAL of existing Learning Partnerships ONLY
Your answers should not take more than 4 A4 pages in total.
Please answer the following questions, which are designed to find out what the project has achieved so far, what modifications have occurred compared to the original objectives and workplan, and the justification for such modifications, the activities envisaged for 2002/2003 and the outcomes these activities are designed to give rise to.
C.2.1. Please fill in the Activity Planning table provided at the end of section C and provide information on the activities taking place in each participating organisation as well as the transnational mobility activities applied for (i.e. project meetings, staff exchanges / visits / placements, learner mobility) and the particular results or other outcomes to which the activities at each institution and the project as a whole are expected to give rise.
Please give special emphasis the activities expected to take place during the year 2003/2004 for which funding is sought in the present application
C.2.2. Using the same format as the Activity Planning Table for 2003/2004, please describe the activities carried out since the approval of the project
In the table of planned activities included in the application form for new projects for 2002, we include a previous phase, called Interphase 1. This phase consists of the meeting of the members of the project with the purpose to establish the bases of collaboration. At the same time, the tools with which we will work in the research that will be carried out in Phase 1 will be defined; Analysis of the labour market and training measures.
This Interphase, planned in principle for September 2002, has been carried out in January 2003. The causes of such delay are extensively explained in point C.2.4.
The meeting of Interphase 1 was carried out in Mollet, 20th and 21st January 2003. The agenda dealt with the following issues:
- Introduction of the members
- Presentation of the project “A modern Conception of Occupational Training”.
- Establishment of the bases of collaboration
- Definition of the tools with which we will work in the following phases
- Draft of the research that will be carried out
- Definition of the research that will be carried out
- Conclusions and bases for the next meeting of members of the project
|
C.2.3. Describe briefly the results of the project so far and try (unless it is too early to do so) to assess its impact on (1) the learners and staff directly participating, (2) the organisations / institutions participating in the Learning Partnership as a whole and (3) where relevant, the local community
Since we are at the beginning of Phase 1, that is, the phase of the analysis of the labour market and the training measures, we still can’t give a first description and evaluation of the results, either of its setbacks. The participation and collaboration among the three members has been established in the creation of the questionnaires aimed at the businessmen and the students.
|
C.2.4. Describe any divergence from the project as originally designed. Specify the nature of the difference, how and why it emerged, the action taken by the partnership and its effects. Focus in particular on changes in :
Ø the aims and objectives
Ø the workplan and calendar
There hasn’t been any change with respect to the objectives expected at first, either in the composition or papers inside the association.
Changes in dates due to problems with the agenda of the members and, a visit initially not planned to Bucharest has been added to follow Phase 2 better: design of training actions since it is required detailed group work.
The actual changes have been caused by the difficulty in finding appropriate dates for all the members involved in the project and for the load of work concentrated between September and December. This period of time coincides with the granting of recycling occupational training actions for active workers, in the co-ordinating company of the project.
These changes have affected the calendar of activities planned in the candidate form of Grundtvig 2 2002-2003 and in the planned meetings of the members. In the application table we describe the activities prepared for 2003-2004, taking into account the changes undergone in the application calendar.
Next, we specify the changes in the calendar of the current project, application 2002-2003:
