In this area we
can find lots of remains which remind us of our past.
|
|
Thanks to these
remains we can get to know our past. In many areas the building and
industrial activity has cancelled the traces of the past: here,
however, there are several old farms, still used.

|
|
Fortunately the
industrial progress hasn’t changed the environment !
As a matter of
fact, in the park we can find typical rural houses: the most common is
a simple farmhouse with two floors; downstairs there is a cowshed and
a barn. |

|
|
The
Curone Park is situated in a wonderful position,
you can easily reach .
It
is quite hilly and from Montevecchia hill you can see the Lombardy
Plain and even Milan.

HISTORY
From the findings
of worked flints we can learn that people must have lived here
70-60,000 years ago.
Fragments of
pottery and of old walls and roads witness a farming, well-organized
society. |
