ORGANIZING AUTHORITY: Snipe Class International Racing Association (SCIRA) HOSTING CLUB: Reale Circolo Canottieri Tevere Remo, Lungotevere in Augusta 1, Roma 00195, ITALY Reale Circolo Canottieri Tevere Remo 00042 Anzio Riviera Zanardelli 101 with the collaboration of Lega Navale Italiana Sezione di Anzio, Riviera Zanardelli 22 00042 Anzio (RM) ITALY RULES: The current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the prescriptions of FIV, the SCIRA Rules of Conduct for Conducting National and International Championship Regattas or Sanctioned Regattas, the Deed of Gift and the Sailing Instructions shall be in effect.
ADVERTISING: This regatta is classified as Category A in accordance with the SCIRA Advertising Prescription.
ENTRY AND ELEGIBILITY: This regatta is open to SCIRA registered boats and skippers in good standing for the current year (insert co-skipper if permitted and crew for championship and sanctioned regattas) subject to any Deed of Gift trophy restrictions.
FEES: Entries and fees received by August, 1, 2002 - Euro 200 per boat. Entries and fees received after August 1, 2002 - Euro 250 per boat. Entry fees inclusive of the following.social events: Opening cerimonies, one dinner during the Championship, and the prizegiving cerimonies. MEASUREMENT: All boats are subject to measurement at any time at the reasonable discretion of the Class or Race Committee and are required to have a current Class decal properly displayed. See the "Entry, Eligibility, and Measurement Restrictions" section of the Rules of Conduct for Conducting National and International Championship Regattas for the required minimum measurements and checks. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Sailing instructions will be available at Registration. COURSES: The courses to be sailed are Class approved courses for an European Championship as published in the current SCIRA Official Rule Book. BLACK FLAG: Racing Rule 30.3 shall not be used in this regatta. APPEALS: Because there will be a properly constituted International Jury, there will be no appeals of it's decisions. SCORING: The SCIRA Low Point scoring system will be used. Seven races are scheduled. Four races will constitute each regatta.
