The Association 'Storie di Mare' established in the year 2000, has residence in Via Duca di San Pietro 18 in Carloforte, his purpouse is to divulgate the 'San Pietro' island in the geographic and cultural views. The association residence may give hospitality, in three difference rooms, 7 members (3+2+2), with the bed and breakfast formula and dinner on request. A wide library with books about the sea, adventures e carlofortinian folk traditions is at guests disposal. Beneath the association friends, are available other lodging, even with the bed and breakfast formula than renting. An accompainement service to and from Cagliari airport and harbour is, on request, at members disposal (max 4 people). The association has disposition of a 33 feet wooden motor boat, which depandind on the season will porpouse different activities, following the 'mattanza' (tuna fishing) in the month of May, fishing during all seasons, photographic tours over and under the sea, tours for swimming and relax. Tipical summer porpouse is a tour by boat, stopping in beautifull places; with the kayaks on board will be possible to explore the noumeros creeks and caves of which the coast of the island and of the near Sardinia are rich. The windsurf funs could use the ones on disposal. The fishing equipment, 'bolentino' and 'traino' is allways ready, the lunch will be prepared on board. During the all year we'll porpouse diving tours, only for expert divers, that will be, in any case, accompanied by a local professional diver. Will be possible to rent little boats for private use and, through the Carloforte Yacht Club, to take part at sailing courses.
