Esaminar le traduzioni proposte per le parole in corsivo neretto in ciascuno dei passaggi seguenti. Precisare se si stratta di un cambiamento:
a) da specifico a genrico
b) da generico a specifico
c) sostituzione da specifico ad altro specifico

Nella Scrittura ci sono termini e frasi che sono usate in sostituzione di una espressione più precisa usata prima e alla quale rimandano come referente. Alcuni "pro-verbi" come 'fare' 'capitare' possono essere tradotti in modo più immediatamente comprensibile se vengono sostituiti con le espresioni più specifiche alle quali rimandano. Procedere alla sostituzione dei termini evidenziati in neretto corsivo, dopo aver consultato il contesto.
Esempio: VUL Acts 3:17 et nunc fratres scio quia per
ignorantiam fecistis sicut et principes vestri
Risposta: NLT Acts 3:17 "Friends, I realize that what you did to
Jesus was done in ignorance; and the same can be said of your leaders.
