Symbiosis ha trovato e continua a cercare i propri suoni e i propri silenzi nell'improvvisazione. Per noi l'improvvisazione non si identifica con un linguaggio specifico, è semplicemente un modo di organizzare i suoni in tempo reale, nel momento in cui si suona. Quello che ci interessa è trovare una comune concezione nel suono, nel silenzio, nei crescendo e nei diminuendo, nei timbri, insomma in tutti quegli elementi difficilmente riducibili a una sintassi troppo rigida, a un linguaggio dalla struttura troppo determinata. Se il "suono" funziona allora all'interno di questo suono tutti i linguaggi che conosciamo, e anche quelli che ci sono ignoti, possono essere citati o cortocicuitati.


The Symbiosis group has found and goes on searching his own sounds and silences into the practice of improvisation. For us improvisation does not identify itself with a specific musical language, but it's only a way of organizing sounds in real time, at the same moment we play them. Our  interest is to find a common idea in sound, silence, crescendo and diminuendo, timbres, in all elements that we cannot include in a harsh sintax, or in a  resolute-structure language. If the "sound" works, then into this sound, all languages we know, and even the ones we don't know, may be cited or short-circuited.

From the CD "Dieci Bagattelle Per l'Ispettore Callaghan" 
Still free improvised music. Though nothing was decided before the performance, all tracks have an incredible sort of telepathic progress. The title track (ten very short pieces, about 18sec. - 60sec. each) is dedicated to the Inspector Callaghan (Clint Eastwood). All the other tracks are dedicated to a movie, an actor, or a painter.
