Hi Roberta,
I was only 9 yrs old at the time and I just have the memory of him
talking to my parents - but I can clerly see him leaning
towards me and holding out his hand and saying
"How do you do?"
in that gorgeous hyper English accent.
He was very charming and I know my parents
were overawed by his presence.
