TRANSPORTS: There is a good 6440 km motorway network that links every place in Italy. The most important airports are located in Rome (Fiumicino), Milan (Linate and Malpensa), Venice (Marco Polo), Genoa (Cristoforo Colombo), Palermo (Punta Raisi), Turin (Caselle) and Naples (Capodichino). All airports are well linked, by bus or railway service, to the nearest city center or to the major towns in the surroundings. The Venice Airport is also served by a motorboat service that drives persons to Venice and other places in the lagoon. The main ports are in Genoa, Naples,Trieste,Venice, Palermo,Cagliari, Bari and Brindisi. There is a good boat service to reach Sardinia, Sicily, smaller Italian Islands, Corsica, Spain,Greece and Tunis from the major Italian ports. 

LANGUAGE: Italian. There are also some language minorities who speak German, French, Slovenian and other ones. In “Valle d’Aosta” region the ufficial languages are Italian and French, in “Trentino Alto Adige”, they are Italian and German. In many Southern regions there are also Greek, Albanian and Catalan minorities. Beside that in Italy, every region, province and even every town has its own dialect.
