 Quattordici finali mondiali, tra il 1954 e il 1967, hanno solo cinque differenti vincitori, i cui nomi appartengono a Ronnie Moore, Peter Craven, Ove Fundin, Barry Briggs e Björn Knutson. La stampa specializzata li chiamò 'I Cinque Grandi' e per molti anni vinsero pressochè tutto. Nel 1962, nelle gare di lega britannica, 'I Cinque Grandi' vennero fatti partire venti iarde (circa 18 metri) indietro rispetto agli avversari. Questa serie di maglie rende omaggio alla loro straordinaria abilità di piloti. |  Fourteen world finals, held from 1954 to 1967, have just five different winners, whose names belong to Ronnie Moore, Peter Craven, Ove Fundin, Barry Briggs and Björn Knutson. The speedway press dubbed them 'The Big Five' and for several years they used to win almost everything. In 1962 'The Big Five' were handicapped in league racing, by being made to start twenty yards back from the start line. This series of t-shirts pays homage to them and their extraordinary riding skills. |
