Tutte queste canzoni sono quelle dell'album del 95. Gli Edguy le hanno scritte quando avevano una media di 17-18 anni. Quando uscì il loro primo album la critica lo accolse abbastanza bene, ma le case discografiche non erano dello stesso parere e giudicarono gli Edguy un gruppo senza futuro, così furono stampate meno di mille copie e il gruppo le vendeva da sé durante i concerti. Poi gli Edguy crebbero e i fan arrivarono ad offrire 500 $ (!!!) per una copia di quell'album. In qualche modo bisognava far rivivere Savage Poetry. Gli Edguy riascoltarono l'album e la giudicarono dapprima un'impresa impossibile: ora erano dei musicisti veri e quando scrissero quell'album erano solo ragazzini. Dopo vari miglioramenti e nuovi arrangiamenti quello che ne derivò fu un disco sensazionale, privo di tutti i difetti che aveva nel '95 e arricchito dall'esperienza che avevano acquisito nel frattempo.
