Since my childhood, every time I have seen a kitten, it has been natural for me to take care of it. Finally, after some years, I got a special gift: a blue-cream Persian kitten, Hancky. After a while, I met Paolo, now my husband, who had a very special feeling with Hancky, so together we started this adventureŠ It was in 1991 when we first participated in a cat show held in Latina, where we live. We were enthusiastic! The Persian cat has always been a passion for us. Its regal look, its lovely temperament, its soft and silky furŠ Little by little, we learned all about it: how to feed it, how to brush it, in one word, how to breed itŠ

Since then, 9 years have passed and we are very happy about our results. We selected beautiful Persians, both in type and temperament. Hancky is still living with us... She is our "mascot", our 'good luck cat'... During these years we tried to breed from good bloodlines to get strong and healthy kittens (see our cats pedigrees in the Studs and Queens pages).

We live in Latina, about 70 kms south of Rome, near the sea. We built a really big house for our cats placed in a safe and peaceful corner of our garden. This cattery is divided into several rooms and is perfectly arranged for what we need. It is cleaned and disinfected daily. All our cats are checked and brushed every day. They are regularly vaccinated and tested every six months.

Toltechi Cattery distinguished itself during these years for the many awards winning National and Regional awards.
Our cats got the highest results at cat shows. This success has lasted for many years now.

In 1997, Toltechi has been the 10th Best Cattery in Italy (all breed) and the 1st Best Cattery in our region. In 1998, we were the 3rd Best Cattery in Italy (all breed) and the 1st Best Cattery again in Regional Championship. This success has been confirmed this year with the results of the 1999 National and Regional Championship. Toltechi is again the Best Cattery in its Region and the Second Best Cattery in Italy (all breed)!
