Day 01 Hanoi
- Arrival
Meet on arrival at
Hanoi/Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to the Galaxy hotel.
City tour: Temple of Literature built in the 11th century for the
first university in Vietnam, Fine Art Museum and Quan Thanh Temple.
Evening : Water puppet show, a unique and famous Vietnamese
traditional art performance. Dinner at hotel Accommodation
Day 02 Hanoi
- Hoa Binh - Mai Chau - Son La
Breakfast Pick up
at hotel, drive to Mai Chau via Hoa Binh town (135 km) through
picturesque scenery with stunning views of the mountains on the way.
Visit Thai ethnic minority village. Lunch en route. Continue driving
to Son La.
Dinner and accommodation at a basic guest house.
Day 03 Son
La - Dien Bien Phu
Breakfast Drive
from Son La to Dien Bien Phu. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon :explore
the Dien Bien Phu area, the site of the famous Vietnamese victory over
the French in 1954, which ended the first Indochinese war.
Dinner and accommodation at a basic guest house.
Day 04
Dien Bien Phu - Lai Chau - Phong Tho
Breakfast Visit
Dien Bien Phu Museum, the notorious hill A-1 battlefield, the former
French command post and a captured tank. Lunch at local restaurant.
Drive to Lai Chau, then proceed to Phong Tho through absolutely
spectacular scenery. Phong Tho offers fine opportunities for hiking,
with Hmong and Dzao hill tribes in the area. Dinner and accommodation
at a basic guest house.
Day 05 Phong
Tho - Binh Lu - Sapa
Breakafast Drive
from Phong Tho to Sapa. From Phong Tho , the road snakes up to Binh Lu,
another breathtaking location with a bowl of terraced rice paddies
ringed by mountains, an excellent place for hiking. From Binh Lu,
drive through more stunning scenery into the mountains and rolling
hills winding up to Sapa. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner (at own

Day 06 Sapa
- Ta Van - Cat Cat - Sapa
Breakfast In the
morning, a 4-km drive by Russian jeep to the rim of a deep valley.
Along the road you will see Hmong, Dzay and Dzao minority people
dressed in their traditional costumes. A 30-minute walk takes you over
a rattan bridge to picturesque Ta Van village, home to all three
minorities.
Share their daily lives for a rare glimpse into their culture and
customs.
Lunch at local restaurant In the afternoon, two hour hike to visit Cat

Day 07 Sapa
- Lao Cai - Hanoi
Breakfast Drive
from Sapa to Lao Cai to board the LC4 train (departure 09.40) and
arrive Hanoi at 20.20. Box lunch. Transfer to the Galaxy Hotel.
Dinner and accommodation at Hotel.
Day 08 Hanoi
- Hue
Breakfast Transfer
to the airport for flight to Hue Arrive in Hue and transfer to the
Saigon Morin Hotel. Boat trip on Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, Hon
Chen Temple, Minh Mang's Tomb. Lunch at local restaurant.
Visit to Imperial Citadel, Tu Duc/Khai Dinh and Do Ba Market.

Day 09 Hue
- DMZ - Hue
Breakfast Pick up
at hotel, transfer to DMZ (Demilitarized Zone): the ancient city of
Quang Tri, visit the Hien Luong bridge, the Seventeenth parallel, the
border between North and South Vietnam during the war, Vinh Moc
tunnel, Highway No. 09, Dakrong suspension bridge. Lunch at local
restaurant. Return Hue in the late afternoon. Dinner (at own account)

Day 10 Hue
- Danang - Hoi An
Breakfast Depart
Hue for Danang across the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds),
passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards,
enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Visit Cham Museum and
proceed to Hoi An. Lunch at local restaurant. Discover historical town
of Hoi An, which used to be the prosperous seaport city during the
16th to the 18th centuries. Its sizeable community of foreign
merchants resulted in a unique architecture style with Vietnamese,
Chinese and Japanese influences. Dinner (at own account)

Day 11 Hoi
An - Danang - Nha Trang
Breakfast Free
time. Drive to Danang. Lunch at local restaurant, transfer to station
for day train S3 Danang-Nha Trang at 13.10 departure.
Dinner on board 00.02 arrival at Nha Trang railaway station,transfer
to the Nha Trang Lodge Hotel for accommodation.

Day 13 Nha
Trang - Dalat
Breakfast Visit
the Long Son Pagoda and the Ponagar Cham Tower, a sacred Hindu site
dating back to the 2nd century AD. The town was built between the 7th
and 12th centuries and is still used today as a place of pilgrimage
for the Cham and Vietnamese Buddhists. Lunch at local restaurant.
Depart for Dalat, a cool mountain resort. Its lakes, waterfall,
evergeen forest and gardens make Dalat one of the most enjoyable
places in Vietnam. On the way, visit Po Klong Garai Cham Tower. Arrive
in Dalat and transfer to the Empress Hotel for check in. Dinner (at

Day 14 Dalat
- Ho Chi Minh
Breakfast Visit
the Lover's lane. Xuan Huong Lake. Flower Garden and Linh Son Pagoda.
Lunch at local restaurant Depart for Ho Chi Minh City with stopover to
visit Prenh Waterfall. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to the Grand
Hotel for check in. Dinner (at own account) Accommodation
Day 15 Ho
Chi Minh City -My Tho - Can Tho
Breakfast Pick up
at hotel. Drive to My Tho (2 hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City) and
visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000
inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive
orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong
River and visit an orchard on an island, with lunch en route at a
local restaurant. Continue with a visitto a snake farm before
proceeding to Can Tho. Dinner (at own account)

Day 16 Can
Tho - Cai Rang - Ho Chi Minh City
Breakfast Boat
trip on Mekong river to visit Cai Rang floating market.

Day 17 Ho
Chi Minh City
Breakfast
Excursion to Cu Chi tunnels (70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City), an
amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the Vietnamese war.
Lunch at local restaurant Visit to Thien Hau Pagoda, History Museum
and former Presidential Palace and a lacquerware workshop.

Day 18 Ho
Chi Minh City - Departure
Breakfast
Time at leisure for own activities.
