Brad Pitt's Heartbreak
Hollywood's golden boy, Brad Pitt said that only once in his life was he dumped by a woman he loved, but it completely changed him.
"It was one of my worst moments," Pitt said of the day his fiancee Jill Schoelen told him she was in love with someone else. "You don't forget something like that and maybe I've never quite got over the feeling of humiliation."
Pitt himself dumped some of Hollywood's hottest women, including Gwyneth Paltrow, before settling down in marriage to Jennifer Anniston.

LONDON (Reuters) - Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt admits he has only been dumped by a woman once, but says the experience scarred him forever.

In an interview published in the Sunday Express, Pitt said the life-altering experience happened in Budapest in May 1989. His fiancee of three months, actress Jill Schoelen, told him she had fallen in love with another man.

``It was one of my worst moments,'' Pitt said.

``You don't forget something like that and maybe I've never quite got over the feeling of humiliation.

``It may have affected the way I've conducted some relationships since.''

Now married to ``Friends'' star Jennifer Aniston, the man twice named People magazine's ``Sexiest Man Alive'' previously loved and left some of Tinsel Town's most beautiful women, notably actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

His return to Budapest to film his latest movie, ``Spy Game,'' co-starring Robert Redford and directed by Tony Scott, brought back memories of that first love disaster.

``I'm superstitious about such things,'' he said. ``I didn't want Jennifer to visit me on set.''

Pitt recently said in another interview he was bored with films and did not see his Hollywood career extending past the next seven years.

Pitt also admitted to undergoing therapy to deal with his fame.

Harry Potter is Evil
A group of evangelists in Taiwan has warned parents not to allow their children to read the Harry Potter books, because the series is evil.
"The Harry Potter books are evil. They teach sorcery and run counter to the Bible," one said at a news conference.
The Taipan group said that the books are "not pure fiction. They are for real," because one of the books uses the name Azkaban, which is another name for the devil.

Evangelists Say Harry Potter Books Are Evil
TAIPEI (Reuters) - A group of Taiwanese Evangelists said on Thursday that the Harry Potter (news - web sites) books were evil and warned parents not to let their children read the adventures of the boy wizard.

The Ling-Leung Church posted an essay on its Web site, warning its 7,000 followers off the books.

``The Harry Potter books are evil. They teach sorcery and run counter to the Bible,'' Tang Tai-hao, the wife of an Evangelist pastor, told Reuters after a news conference at which she denounced the books as harmful.

Tang, the 47-year-old mother of two boys aged nine and 11, said the church's Shihlin branch has burned several copies.

British author J.K. Rowling (news - web sites)'s tales about the 11-year-old's exploits at the Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Witchcraft have captured children's imaginations worldwide.

The books have sold some 125 million copies, and spurred Hollywood to make a film which premiered in London on November 4, throwing media critics into raptures. The film opens in the United States on Friday.

But the books drew harsh criticism from the Taipei group.

``The stuff in the books is not pure fiction. They are for real. Azkaban, for example, is another name for the devil,'' Tang said, referring to the book ``Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.''

In Taiwan alone, about 1.8 million Chinese-language copies of the Harry Potter adventure books have been printed.
