How does it works ?

Launch the program to let appear a small icon in the tray area. 

Double clicking on that icon you will open a dialog box.

The program will scan the LAN to enumerate all the connected computers.

Click 'Update' to refresh the computer list.

In the log window the program will prompt to the user the operations it has done such as ping to a user, pong from a user, errors, message notifications, etc..

To send a message:

Double click on a computer in the tree control to open a new window.
From now on you will send and receive messages to and from that user from this window.
Write the message in the lowest edit box and press enter to send it.

Receiving messages:

When someone sends you a message using NetSend 3.01 a new window associated to that user is opened and the message is displayed. Use this window to reply.
Every PC running with Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 are able to receive messages and show them in system message boxes without installing any programs thanks to the service 'Messenger'.

Installation:

To install NetSend 3.01 just download the archive and decompress it in a folder on your computer.

How to change language:
Different languages are available.
They are stored in files called like 'NetSend.XXX' where XXX identify the language.
For example the file 'NetSend.ENG' contains the English language.
The program will use the file named 'NetSend.LNG' so, simply rename the file 'NetSend.XXX' to 'NetSend.LNG' to change language.
