This quiet chalet is located in the heart of Mugello, 600 m of elevation, 8 km far from Vicchio and only 40 min. driving from Florence. The first floor is made by a big veranda, kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower and three patios; on the second floor there are two double bedrooms and a small bathroom. The chalet is surrounded by a broad garden with barbecue and outside furniture. The chalet can comfortably accommodate 5+2 guests for a fully relaxing vacation.

A few kilometers from Florence, among the rolling hills, the tall cypress trees, and against the background of mountain peaks and passes, stretches the territory of the Mugello. Silent waters, delightful countryside, friendly, peaceful and hard-working people, healthy food, the wine roads, historical villas all to be found just outside Florence. History, culture, high quality service, in the context of a new relationship with nature, this are the things the Mugello have to offer. Trekking is only one of a numerous range of activities: the natural beauty of Mugello can also be experienced from horseback, by mountain bike, canoe or raft. Great ideas to know and appreciate this land are for example excursions following history trails like villas and medieval castle, ancient farms, churches and convents or visits to museums. The Medici family, originally, came from this area and important buildings and fortresses, castle, villas and places remain to testify to this era of growth in the Mugello. Even the course of the artistic and cultural history of Florence has been greatly influenced by this area; artists as Giotto and Beato Angelico were born here. There are many local events: festivals, fairs and village feasts, which take place in the towns of the Mugello in honor of the local products and traditions. In this uncontaminated environment where the wolf and the eagle are still present, it is possible to walk into ancient forests and discover flowers belonging to rare species, red deers, daini and caprioli.
