About us

    In the nineties I came from the city of Pescara (Middle of Italy), where I worked as a business manager in a building firm, to Venice, where for a few years I continued to do that.
While looking for properties to offer to my customers I realised that the times were changing and the modern society was growing into something different from the past: the industrial capitalism was transforming into cultural capitalism. This reflection led me to reconsider my way of living: in a world of cultural capitalism the main values are self-satisfaction and self-improvement.
    This means that in the cultural-capitalist age the most asked question is not what I would like to own, but what I would like to experience.
    Considering that these two concepts were ripe both in myself and in the capitalist society, and considering also that the tourist field was continuing to develop and to grow in Europe, in America and in Asia, I convinced myself that my first activity should be the tourist industry and not the building industry. So I decided to use the best flat I had at my disposal to create a new kind of business that made the customer prove new experience. I began to focus my interest in a new kind of tourism in Venice.
    The apartments I want to offer are of an elevate quality and are directed to people who want to enjoy not only the privilege of living in an historic palazzo of Venice, but also to people who desire to have more contact with the traditions and habits of Venetian citizens. In fact I offer the possibility to participate to the particular events organised in the city: not only the well known Carnival, but also special events such as the "Redentore" in July, when every citizen of Venice has dinner on the "Fondamente" (the banks of the channels) waiting the fireworks on the "Bacino di San Marco", (Saint Mark's bay). The possibility to rent a private flat gives the opportunity to have the privacy and intimacy, that a room in a hotel does not permit. Where it is possible, I also organise dinner and opera music inside the flat, in alternative I suggest my clients the best places where they can have real Venetian dishes, or where they can listen to opera music. 
     I thought that the best way to let the world know about my idea was to put it on the internet. So I created this web site with not only the photos of my available apartments and their prices, but also the history of the events in the city of Venice and their calendar. Everything was made possible also by the great development of the global economy based on the net.
     My final aim is to offer to the customer the possibility to have the same kind of tourism in the two other Italian most important cities: Florence and Rome, so that the customer can travel around Italy and come in touch with the real history of the country. 
     This is my dream, and I hope to realize it.
