Villa in Tuscany, Italy:

The villa “Isola Rossa” is named after its coastline view coloured red by the setting sun.

The cottage is nestled within acres of undeveloped land with the mountain Monte Argentario at its rear

and a panorama of truly spectacular sea views.

The two bedroom and two bathroom villa has just been completely re-built using traditional Tuscan materials and has cotto tiled floors and wooden beamed ceilings.  It is fully equipped and is handsomely decorated.  The combined sitting room and kitchen has a stone fireplace and an enormous window overlooking the garden and sea.

You can eat on the terrace, lounge on sun beds, relax on the grass under the shade from the trees, explore the terraced hillside, or walk to the ruined castle.  This house combines the pleasure of country live with seaside holiday.

Location:

Monte Argentario is an Italian well-kept secret. This peninsular on the Tuscan coastline is renowned for its spectacular setting and seashore. Two parallel roads lined with pine trees and kilometres of sandy beaches link the peninsula to mainland Italy. Prototypical Italian hairpin roads wind their way round the mountainside and coastline bays to the ports of Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano.  There are ferries from the near by port of Santo Stefano to the islands of Giglio and Giannutri.  At a short distance the inland medieval towns of Magliano in Toscana and Capalbio can be visited and their excellent restaurants sampled.  There are etruscan remains at Tarquinia or hot springs at Saturnia.

A perfect location for all ages.
